17 paź 2008 · Here's Magpul OD Green outside. The stock is CTR Magpul; the pistol grip is Magpul MIAD; the magazine is Magpul PMag with a Magpul Ranger plate. (The handguards are CavArms OD Green.) I don't have any Foliage stuff to compare it to. Sorry. Hope it helps.
Magpul hasn't produced Foliage Green products for a couple years now. Also, that looks like ODG in bright light while FG looks more grey in bright light.
Which one matches better to the OD green PMAG? I have 2 P mags but only a black stock. Anyone have input? Nothing matches magpul od green.
Magpul furniture is great for the consistency as well. Midwest Industries makes handguards labeled ODG but it’s really more light foliage green, kind of frustrating. For best results, get a cerakote job or get everything black and then rattle can everything with one color
7 lis 2009 · Mil-Spec Green and MagPul OD Green are the darkest of the OD's and differ based on the undertones in the pigments with Mil-Spec Green having a dark brown undertone and MagPul having a black undertone.
8 lis 2013 · Pick the color closest to your local vegetation. OD for East TX and foliage for most other places with scrub brush. Or, rattle can the whole rifle in camo. AR15.com and m4carbine.net have some pretty good tutorials on using Krylon for various camo patterns.
7 cze 2012 · I have all the colors and prefer Foliage Green the best: FDE a close second, Black and then OD green last. Law enforcement officers must understand that armed citizens are there to defend them when they are outnumbered…and to outnumber them, if they enforce unconstitutional laws.
