6 sty 2006 · I recently got my first GPSr, a Magellan SporTrak Pro, for cheap at a yardsale. It even came with the Mapsend software. What it didn't come with was the data or power cables and I really don't think they are worth $20 each for something that only consists of a couple of wires.
18 lut 2007 · This is my biggest gripe. – The form factor sucks. There's no place to clip the unit on and it is heavier than I would like. – The trip meter is never accurate. It always under reports the mileage. – It takes a long time after powering on the unit to lock onto at least 4 satellites.
24 sie 2004 · I am contemplating a sportrak. Maybe the basic sportrak or the pro or the topo model. Any comments good or bad and any suggestions are welcome. I will use it mainly for deer hunting. I'm hoping to be able to "wander" and scout without concentrating so much on how to get back to the starting place.

1 lut 2006 · Reviewed by. Humper. March 8, 2005. Great GPS with up-loadable regions and waypoints (with Mapsend Topo CD – extra). The only negative thing I have to say is the battery compartment screw can strip out if you're not careful.
30 paź 2024 · The SporTrak Pro is one of Magellan's newer range of handheld GPS Receivers. The SporTrak range are small, rugged, built to last and are for the serious map navigators in mind. The SporTrak Pro comes standard with a 2mb base map and 23mb free memory.
30 paź 2024 · The Magellan SporTrak is a well known series of handheld GPS Receivers, but Magellan have started to update their range of handheld's into colour models. First we saw the Meridian Colour, and now Magellan have updated a SporTrak to the SporTrak Color.
