20 gru 2014 · If a red light is visible in the audio-out port when sound should be playing, the internal switch is stuck in the position for digital output. You may be able to free it by inserting and removing a mini-stereo jack of the proper size.
23 mar 2024 · My MacBook air does not output any sound when using the built in MachBook Speakers. Sound works fine when connected with airpods or other bluetooth devices. I have confirmed under sound setting that vol output is not 0 and built in speakers are selected.
Make sure the speakers are plugged into the audio output port on your Mac or display, and if necessary, into a power supply. Check for a power switch and volume adjustment on your external speakers. If necessary, turn the speakers on and adjust the speaker volume.
