8 paź 2016 · Trackpad not clicking/stuck down. I recently did a full rebuild of my MBP, which had been damaged. New top and bottom cases, new display, new battery. I tested the trackpad mechanism before reassembly and it seemed to click fine. Once it's all back together, though, the trackpad is stuck.
13 sty 2010 · The case on the back of the screen seems to have come unglued at one corner. When I close the screen one corner doesn’t sit flush. You can lift the flap up enough to see the glue that was meant to be holding it together.
Compare your new replacement part to the original part—you may need to transfer remaining components or remove adhesive backings from the new part before installing. To reassemble your device, follow the above steps in reverse order.
21 sie 2020 · Perhaps the battery is beginning to swell and is pressing against the Trackpad which is preventing proper movement. If the battery is swelling, then you should stop using the laptop and get it serviced as it can severely deform the laptop's case increasing the cost of the repair.
