2 lis 2016 · MacOSX Finder column view looks like this: I don't like how Windows displays a mix of drop down menus (seen in the left column) and standard folders, and I don't like how I can't see all the folders and files in the directories above mine--only in the topmost directory (seen in the lefthand column).
10 kwi 2024 · The images can be viewed in preview, but not as a thumbnail. Under view options, the settings are to show icons, show icon previews, and show preview column. The JPGs are visible in the preview column, but only JPG placeholders are seen in the icons.
5 mar 2022 · I have checked that Finder > View is set oto View as Icons. Finder icon view doesn't show image thumbnail. open View options on Desktop and increased the size of the icon to max and decreased it and then they show up. Same for Finder, increase size to max and decrease.
Right-click on the Finder icon in the dock and select Relaunch. If this doesn't work, ensure that JPG files are associated with Preview. To do this, right-click on one of them and choose Get Info. Under the Open With section, select Preview, and then click Change All.
On your Mac, click in the Dock to open a Finder window. Select the folder whose view you want to customize, then choose View > Show View Options or press Command-J. Set options to customize the view for the selected folder.
Choose View > Show Preview Options, then select the checkboxes for the options you want to show for the file you selected (available options depend on the file type). If you want to perform some tasks with the file right from the pane (such as rotating an image or creating a PDF), make sure the Show Quick Actions checkbox is selected.
25 mar 2020 · Each Finder window can display its content in one of four views—icon, list, column, and gallery. All four of these views are customizable. The four views can be accessed from the Finder's View menu, or by clicking one of the View buttons in the Toolbar of a Finder window.
