14 maj 2021 · I am currently running macOS Big Sur v11.2.3 and trying to download/install updates. It has been 2 days and its only downloaded 23.6MB out of 5.70GB. This seems unreasonably slow and I would assume Apple would have more bandwidth than this on their servers.
In order to resolve the problem, you can simply reduce the amount of total bandwidth your computer will use in order to prevent the ISP's traffic shaping from completely robbing bandwidth from all other applications.

I used to get full speed for around 3-4 gb download and then suddenly speed used to drop around 10mbps. Only way to fix this issue was to restart my mac and I have to do this again an again. I always use my mouse connected to bluetooth.
