12 lut 2021 · General Shaver mags are easily identified by the spot welded seam on the back. I have had many and the G is often lightly rolled. These are pretty desirable and worth quite a bit, depending on condition.
3 sie 2022 · These magazines are usually identified by the Colt pony on the baseplate, and a couple of letter codes that indicate the finish and the subcontractor. These are the codes for those magazines: M=Metalform
22 lis 2016 · What reference source did you use to find out the magazine manufactures? Those five digit strings are CAGE codes. You can Google them or look them up in BINCS to decode them.

In response to repeated requests for clarification on the types and makers of M1911 series magazines during the World Wars and post-War, here is a brief outline: “Two-tone” magazines. These are the type that were made up until just before WWII.
