13 paź 2002 · When I first saw this episode in 2002, it did remind me of 'Mike's Whistle' a lot. The episode was nice and it shows how whistles are important to an engine, something that the recent Thomas episodes are missing out on, hopefully they have an episode like this in S17.

Duncan brags that an engine is not an engine without a whistle and lets off a big blast with his whistle, but the other engines ignore him. Duncan becomes offended while he sets off with his goods because he thinks the other engines are jealous of his whistle.

Duncan's driver says they don't have time to find it, but they need a whistle for safety reasons though. Luckily a school headmaster has an organ they can use as a whistle, much to Duncan's horror.
