29 kwi 2023 · I have installed the Hebrew language pack and have a physical Hebrew keyboard. How do I type vowels (nikkudot) in MS Word? There used to be two keyboards, Hebrew (with vowels) and Hebrew Standard (Without), but now there is only one, and I cannot figure out how to access the vowels.

This applies to Windows 10 (build 15002) but it may be similar to older (or newer) versions of Windows. Go to the Region settings in the Control Panel. There are several ways to do this and here's a few of them.
14 kwi 2017 · Addressed issue where some non-Unicode fonts (Courier, MS Sans Serif, etc.) do not render characters correctly on non-Latin, single-byte system locales (Greek, Hebrew, Arabic, etc.). Black bars or other artifacts appear instead.
9 sty 2023 · In Windows 8 to 10 there is another way to add "nikkud". When the language bar shows 'HE', all you need to do is press AltGr (or Alt+Ctrl) + the first letter of the "nikkud" name in Hebrew: ק = Kamatz. פ = Patah. ח = Hirik. ס = Segol. ד = Dagesh/Shuruk. צ = Tzeire. ו = Holam. ' (w) = Right Shin. / (q) = Left Shin. \ = Kubbutz.
After the install routine completes, open up a capable text editor such as LibreOffice and try out your Hebrew keyboard. (pro-tip: In Windows, you can toggle between your default language and Hebrew by pressing ALT-SHIFT.)
Download and install our Open Siddur Open-source Unicode Hebrew font pack. Before editing, also make sure to have installed and activated, a Hebrew keyboard layout (such as the Biblical (TIRO) Hebrew layout), again, supporting the full range of Hebrew text with diacritical marks (t’amim and niqudot).
