There are various reputable and legit "expert network" companies (search this subreddit for that term), such as GLG. I can imagine some of them might be borderline sketchy though. These companies basically scout potentially knowledgeable people on certain (niche) industries for "expert interviews".
I felt instantly that this was super spammy, because any good business is not going to waste their time interviewing every single person that applies. I went to Google, and there's TWO reviews for the business on glassdoor, and no other information other than job postings.
