Introducing the new MyACCESS, the modernized version of the old ACCESS system. MyACCESS aims to enhance the needs of Floridians accessing SNAP (food assistance), TANF (cash assistance), and Medicaid (healthcare coverage assistance).
MyAccess Portal Information. The new MyACCESS portal is coming December 5th! The new portal replaces the current ACCESS Florida portal and offers a new, easier-to-use system! Some important things to know: All users will be required to create a new account for the MyACCESS portal. Existing usernames/accounts will not be transferred.
Applications for Medicaid are made through the Department of Children and Families (DCF). Call the toll-free number (866) 762-2237 or visit http://www.myflorida.com/accessflorida/. A person who moves here from another state, who had Medicaid in the prior state, has to apply for Medicaid in Florida.
