There's a VR media player app that can show streaming 360 videos and the VLC Player can play YouTube videos. The VLC Player also shows a network URL you can paste into the the VR media player app. The 360 video will play in your headset.
As you may know, you can use the Rift us to view 360 videos that are on websites that present those videos using WebXR. YouTube doesn't use WebXR so that's the problem. You might try the Virtual Desktop app to see if it will download and play a 360 YouTube video.
