You can see your little people in their rooms presented before you in a 2D model of the house with no walls or windows, and they have their own activity when you're not controlling them, like watching TV, cooking, cleaning etc.
Little Computer People, also called House-on-a-Disk, is a social simulation game released in 1985 by Activision for the Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, [4] Atari ST and Apple II. An Amiga version was released in 1987.
Its a remake of the classic Little Computer People in Unity. Here's a direct download link. The github repo is here. Great little project which stretched my knowledge with blender modeling, animations, coroutines, etc. and still a work in progress. Enjoy :)
