Walton Park is a public park owned by the City of Litchfield and maintained by the Litchfield Park District. The Park is open to the public from April 1 to October 31 during the hours of 8 am - 10:30 pm. Walton Park is ideal for fishing, picnicking and enjoying the outdoors.

Lake Lou Yaeger is known throughout the country for its campsites, boat-loading ramps, fishing, hunting, skiing, swimming, picnic and playground areas, walking and cycling paths, and miles of horseback riding trails.
