27 cze 2021 · For all you newbies out there with a diode laser, I have made a step-by-step guide on creating a power scale to dial in your engraving burns. Unlike the tons of other videos out there who skip steps and explanations, this video will walk you through the entire process, start to finish.
Basic Powerscale Test Generator. Updated August 2023 ~ Fixed issue with not being able to select the correct output shape type. This form will create a simple lightburn powerscale file to test speed and power settings for cutting. This form will remember the settings.

The Lightburn Power Scaling Feature allows you to quickly set up a cut power test to check the laser settings for a specific material. Watch it here!
Create a 15x15mm square. Set its speed to your lowest speed to test and set power to whatever 100% on your laser is (i.e. if your max power should be set to 70% so as not to overpower your tube (i.e. go above the recommended MAX milliamps) then set power to 70%).
