9 gru 2021 · I am using a YoraHome 6550 with the 15watt laser. The material is a piece 12"x12"x1/4" Baltic Birch plywood. I have found the speed and power setting I want to use through some testing.
2 sty 2023 · Cutting: A speed of 80 mm/s and a power of 60% is a good starting point for cutting cherry wood with the Monport 80W laser engraver. Maple Engraving: A speed of 100 mm/s and a power of 30% is often effective for laser engraving maple wood.

I prefer to work in metric most of the time, but if you have lightburn set to show imperial, the cut speeds should be automatically translated. You would just need to update the text layer. Originally I started with that build-in test generator, but wanted something a bit more compact.
