As the title suggests I wanted to talk about the ability skill link and the held item life orb. I recently did a raid and caught a vloystet with skill link and I was wondering if life orb would boost each hit for a move like rock blast or bullet seed.
27 lis 2019 · If a Pokémon with Sheer Force uses a move boosted by that Ability, it does not take damage from Life Orb for that move. Sheer Force and Magic Guard are the only Abilities to negate Life Orb damage. Klutz does as well, but a Pokemon with that Ability won't receive the Life Orb boost anyway.
Yes, if a pokemon with Sheer Force is holding a Life Orb and is using a move with a secondary effect (like Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, etc) then LF's recoil is negated, but the damage is still boosted. It's been this way since gen 5.
