28 paź 2024 · Most users term it the “black screen of death” because they can’t access anything on the TV from the Live TV, LG apps, or TV settings menu. Sometimes, you can hear the sound, but the picture does not display. Don’t panic; you can solve this issue in just a few seconds.
After my LG B6 panel was replaced for terrible burn-in, it would blink a black screen at random intervals between 3 to 9 minutes apart when streaming via built-in apps only. Did not occur with devices connected via HDMI. B6 units with replaced panels seem to be the afflicted.

The screen would go black, but sound would still play. I fixed it by deleting and redownloading the app. However, I tried to play Dark Souls 3 and when I alt-tabbed out of the game, my screen went black and nothing was showing up on the screen.
I had the black screen issue first and after the installation of the new firmware I experienced strange artifacts in the picture. Swapping the HDMI cable didn’t change anything. My solution was :

15 sie 2022 · Hi, My LG TV from 2018 - model OLED55B7T - over about 4 hours went from normal function, to displaying a fully black screen for a few seconds, and now is completely black. TV is on, I can hear sound, but nothing at all is displayed on screen, no matter what buttons/menu’s I try and enter.
