The Lexington History Museum inspires our future by collecting and preserving Lexington’s history and telling our stories. After more than a decade, LexHistory reopened to the public in August 2023, in our new home, the Thomas Hunt Morgan House at 210 North Broadway.

The Lexington History Center, a significant historical site, was situated in the former Fayette County Courthouse in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. This location was in use until 2012, when the city decided to close the building for renovation.
