Rescue Pals Inc is a 501c3 non profit, all volunteer national organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of unwanted, abandoned or abused Leonbergers and Leonberger mixes. We offer education to shelters, other rescues and individuals.
The NCLC serves Leo owners, and anyone curious about Leonbergers, in Northern California and Nevada. We hold Leo-friendly activities and events to support and preserve the Leonberger breed and to foster camaraderie.
We rescue all Leonbergers and adopt them into safe, responsible, loving homes as inside members of the family. We save all Leonbergers, whether they are perfectly healthy, or whether they have been injured and are in need of major or minor medical care.

We are active in therapy work and both dogs are certified Crisis Dogs with HOPE Animal Assisted Crisis Response. We also participate in conformation, water rescue, obedience, rally and agility. We believe a well rounded dog is a happy dog.
