WFO Concepts steel axle shims are designed to change your pinion or caster angle on a leaf spring suspended vehicle. We offer our shims in a variety of widths: 1.75", 2", 2.5”, 2.75" or 3" wide.
These are used on leaf spring vehicles in order to adjust pinion angles and achieve proper drive line geometry. Our shims are 2.5" wide and 4" long, machined from steel, and include a new set of 3/8" diameter center bolts. Select size (in degrees).
26 maj 2023 · I upgraded my rear leaf springs to the Procomp 22415 rear springs and bought 2* WFO shims to correct driveline angle. From 600 lbs. to 12,000 lbs., Dexter offers a full line of torsion axle options featuring the Dexter TORFLEX and Eliminator series.
I'm against it. so ya axel twist around the wheel hub typa deal. so center of axel. the leverage against the leaf spring is lengthened due to lift blocks. and lifted usually means big tires. so like rear end gears and stuff and drive line angle. plus the extra engine twist added for the tires. 👀
Made from high quality aluminum, these shims will allow for accurate pinion angle adjustment and better ride control. Skyjacker leaf spring axle shims are available in flat or contoured styles for springs over or under the axle.
The TORFLEX® axle provides improved suspension characteristics relative to leaf spring axles through the unique arrangement of a steel torsion bar surrounded by four rubber cords encased in the main structural member of the axle beam.
