I'm trying to find the best way to mount my G2L on my AR and I have narrowed it down to Larue and VTAC. I like the looks and price of the VTAC, but the main thing is that it isn't QD and my AR serves multiple purposes (hunting, HD, range use). Is the VTAC light mount easy to take off and put on- is it just 2 allen screws?
The LOW 3x mount works behind the Eotech when mounted on the small rail section on the back of the Eotech mount. Which Aimpoint mount should I buy? The LT150 is the standard M68 CCO optic mount that we produce. The mount will give you a repeatable zero and a lower 1/3rd Co-Witness.

The LaRue version of the VTAC is my favorite now. Great sling and has the QD points pre-attached. Can't go wrong with LaRue gear! Jake
The "Tall" mount aligns the CompM4 perfectly in front of the LT Pivot-Mounted Aimpoint 3XMagnifier, LT-Mounted PVS-14 and / or all BUIS units. The "Medium" mount provides absolute-cowitness and is compatible with other USGI-height mounts. The "Short" mount is the correct height for Piston Uppers, like the HK416.
18 sie 2007 · Other than the LaRue VTAC having a padded shoulder section what are the differences if any? Are they the same? I noticed that the Vickers sling marketed by "Blue Force Gear" has a "Patent Pending", and the LaRue VTAC is "Registered".
