(TITC) - From February 15, 2022, Vietnam will remove restrictions on passenger transport on regular and irregular flights; Passengers entering Vietnam must comply with current regulations on immigration and medical control, according to Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV).

Vietnam officially reopened its inbound tourism on 15th March 2022 after nearly two years of closure. Two months later (on 15th May 2022), Vietnam also removed the pre-entry Covid-19 testing requirements for all arrivals as per a recent government’s Official Dispatch No. 416/CD-TTg.

Tourists entering Vietnam should also have medical or travel insurance that covers COVID-19 treatment with a minimum liability of US$10,000. 18 lut 2022 · The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued new guidelines Thursday in welcoming back foreign arrivals, effective from now until March 15, which allowed foreign tourists and overseas Vietnamese to arrive in Vietnam on regular commercial flights, instead of only charter flights.
17 mar 2022 · Under the latest regulations, foreign arrivals travelling to Viet Nam by air shall be required to take a RT-PCR or RT-LAMP COVID-19 test within 72 hours or a rapid test within 24 hours before departure. This requirement is not applicable to children under two years of age.
