If you have previously attended another RN program, you must obtain and complete the Transfer Recommendation Form from the nursing website. This must be completed by you, as well as by the Program Director of your previous program.
Those applying through the LVN-RN Advanced Placement route must complete the same pre- and co-requisite courses listed above. Nursing 329A/B, 311, and 321 is offered in Fall semesters only. A current CA LVN license is required.
Program Learning Outcomes. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to: Integrate the nursing process using the Roy Adaptation Model to promote adaptation of individuals, families, and the community. Internalize professional behaviors of the nursing practice.
Simulation is offered for practicing of clinical and nursing skills. Graduates of the nursing program receive an Associate of Science Degree, Professional Nursing, and are qualified to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX).
