Streszczenie. Polichlorowane dibenzo-p-dioksyny (PCDD), w tym 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioksyna (TCDD), należą do grupy związków chemicznych zwanych trwałymi zanieczyszczeniami organicznymi (TZO), (ang. persistent organic pollutants, POPs).
2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzodioxin (TCDD) is the most toxic of the family of 210 compounds. Seventeen of these PCDD/F compounds having chlorines in the 2,3,7, and 8 positions are designated for special concern because their shape makes them particularly bioactive.
2,3,7,8-Tetrachlorodibenzodioksyna, TCDD – organiczny związek chemiczny z grupy dioksyn o bardzo dużej toksyczności. Związek ten został prawdopodobnie wykorzystany do usiłowania otrucia Wiktora Juszczenki jesienią 2004 roku w czasie kampanii prezydenckiej na Ukrainie .
In animals, 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD, “dioxin”) causes various systemic effects at a wide range of exposure concentrations, including tumorigenesis, immunological dysfunction, and teratogenesis.
21 gru 2021 · 2,3,7,8-Tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD) is known to be a human carcinogen based on sufficient evidence of carcinogenicity from studies in humans, both epidemiological and on the mechanism of carcinogenesis.
Polychlorinated Dibenzodioxins. The environmental contaminant 2,3,7,8-tetrachlordibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD) belongs to the category of highly toxic, persistent organic pollutants that accumulate in animal fat and plant tissues. Today, background TCDD levels in human fat are showing a decreasing trend.
2,3,7,8-Tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD) is a halogenated aromatic hydrocarbon (HAH) and widespread environmental pollutant (Poland and Knutson, 1982). TCDD is lipophilic and has a slow rate of metabolism and excretion; thus, it readily concentrates in the food chain (Safe et al., 1991).
