The KSP delta v chart is essential for approximating the delta v required to successfully complete a mission. With a simple glance, it allows you to know the energy cost of each stage of the journey. The KSP delta v map is a crucial resource for carrying out missions of moderate to high complexity.
For example, going into an 80 km orbit from around Kerbin takes 3400 m/s of Delta-V (From Kerbin), and going to Munar orbit (from the moon) of a height of 14km takes 580 m/s of Delta-V. You can see more measurements on the KSP Delta-V Map below [NOTE 4]
You can even download it as a PDF by going to File > Download as > PDF Document on the source. LATE EDIT: Thanks to the anonymous redditor who gave gold. You're awesome!
Go to the imgur link for versions in A4 and US letter. You will also find pdf download links there. EDIT: I noticed that I made some errors when copying the values over from Kowgan's map. The atmospheric Dv values are not actually in vacuum Dv, so the real values are higher. Expect an updated version of the map soon.
16 paź 2014 · Check it for development, pull requests and other maps. All required tools for map editing are referenced there. How do I use it? It's simple! 1. Pick a planetoid you wish to visit. 2. From your initial position, add up the numbers between every checkpoint until you reach your desired checkpoint. 3.
19 sie 2015 · Knocked up a handy diagram combining Delta V values from WAC's map and orbital / planetary info from the KSP wiki.
