I was reading up on Kree’arra on the wiki in preperation to try fight him solo (Not really to farm, just as a personal accomplishment) and it mentioned that he will use Melee if he isn’t under attack.
Strategy: It is suggested to collect ecumenical keys when doing extended trips of Kree'aara due - to the required monsters you must slay otherwise to obtain the 40 kill count that is also required for all God Wars Dungeon bosses.
