Like its version 4 predecessor, Kontakt 5 comes with a 43GB sample library comprising a generous compendium of instruments in seven categories: Band, Choir, Synth, Urban, Vintage, World and, of course, the essential Orchestral category culled from the famous Vienna Symphonic Library.
Kontakt is a software application and plug-in that can be used as a stand-alone software instrument, or as a plug-in inside a DAW. It is primarily a 'sample playback' engine and comes with a decent library. Kontakt can be expanded by purchasing more individual sound libraries with more sounds.
3 kwi 2016 · Hey, I just noticed that I am eligble for a crossgrade on Kontakt 5 since I own heavyocity's ensemble drums. Is Kontakt 5 alone worth 250 bucks, for its content? I know there are some libraries that require kontakt 5 but I did well avoiding them since the market has a lot of alternatives.
