A 100% FET preamp, serious dual mono construction, and a well-designed power amp with a FET differential input stage make for a unique and very easy to listen to amplifier.

24 gru 2012 · Someone gave me a Kenwood Model 500 because they were moving into a smaller place. Google tells me that this unit has a really good reputation, but I think mine is busted in some way. It powers up and plays music fine, but the sound is very muddy and unclear.
8 cze 2007 · I had the SW-500 for about 10 years and am quite sad to see it go. It's a great sub but very boomy, it seems a lot more than 50 watts. It's also very unusual looking, over the 10 years of owning it a lot of people have commented on it and wondered what the hell it was!
