My track plan for a kato unitrack layout. Try using scarn. It will help you get you a better plan for your final layout. I would move the yard to the middle section. The yard being in one of the left or right sides would make it very short.
I believe that I’m using the 315-282 mm super-elevated double track pieces for my outer-inner radius on the dual track main line, 718mm 15 degrees curves on the yard (goes with the #6 turnouts and matches their curvature/radius) and I think I use 1 standard 249mm 45 degree curve on a spur.
The past month had me revisit the Manning Oaks layout, whereas I was initially inspired by the Watchung and Hawthorne layout. Both still missed some elements I wanted, so over the past few weeks I pulled out XtrackCAD and went to work finalizing the design.

2 sty 2021 · I started in Anyrail my new HO layout until I decided N scale was really where I needed to be to get more scenery, etc. so the layout was not overwhelmed with track and trains. Do you mind sharing your AnyRail file so I can see how you have done your layout?

11 paź 2018 · Kato Track, Black River layout, and adding track to make a double main. I really want to be able to run multiple trains: 2 or 3. I can put a 8x8 size of plyout in my back room.
