I just wanted to share with folks the method I use to remove the slide from my Kahr S9 as I find it quite easy. I wanted to post this after seeing numerous people on YouTube struggle to remove or reassemble the slide while often having to use a tool.
6 kwi 2020 · Place your thumb in the trigger guard area. Then put your index finger (same hand) on the front of the slide and use it to push the slide back. When it is in proper alignment you can then use the magazine to push the slide stop out. It's easy to manipulate the slide this way and no additional tools are required.
3 mar 2009 · I have over 18,700 rounds through my PM9 and I have never taken that strker assemble apart. I have taken the back plate off the slide to install the 5# wolffs striker spring but that is as far as I have went, as I have no reason to fix what is not broken...

Drive out the existing sight from the base, using a brass or steel punch. 3. Clean the factory dovetail until smooth (Q-tip, toothbrush, file as necessary). 4. Slide the sight into the dovetail.
12 lut 2022 · Try pushing down and forward on the barrel while bringing the slide back. On my CT380, it has to be in just the right spot to get back to the witness mark to reinsert the pin. If it came with the Orange “mag” that helps reassemble. I believe it says in the manual. I have the P380 if it’s different.
