  1. Is there anywhere I can download complete albums with covers and tracks in order? I got really sick of downloading a whole discography just for the songs to be all over the place, like in different albums, different artist name (even tho it's the same artist and album)...etc.

  2. John_Thena. • 6 yr. ago. Anytime someone asks a about a KABAR, I have to butt in. This isn’t on your list, but I’d recommend it over the standard USMC KABAR. Try to find a KABAR Big Brother. It’s basically a 14 inch long version of the USMC version.

  3. We sell them all over the place. Many outdoor stores sell KA-BAR - prices tend to vary wildly. We also sell on our website, KA-BAR.com, though we sell at full MSRP so you would save some money buying through a dealer. The 1211 I got at a Cabelas about six years ago.

  4. Now what about the kabar short? It's a good blade and more universal than the full size kabar. But I just don't like how it's 1/3rd the size in handle and width. If anything I'd want a dog's head style kabar that is just as wide, as well as the handle, as the full size kabar with the only difference being that it's just shorter by about two inches.

  5. Ka-bar still makes their classic kabar knife in the USA, along with a couple of other lines of knives, like the Beckers. That said, their knives made in Taiwan aren't bad. I carried a Dozier folder for years, and it's a good inexpensive cutter. I've heard much praise for the Heavy Bowie as well.

  6. Plenty of great YouTube videos about the knife, so I'd encourage you to check them out and confirm whether it looks like the right knife for what you want

  7. Your uncle's knife was made by Utica Cutlery. During WWII there were several cutlery manufacturer's who made the "KA-BAR" style, which was designated the 1219C2. This style, regardless of manufacturer, affectionately became referred to as "KA-BAR' by American troops and the name kind of stuck.
