13 sty 2019 · I am particularly fond of the K&B Sportster engines for a number of reasons. They are very simply constructed - bushing crankshaft, excellent Carburetors, and great fuel economy. Timed and tuned for low rpm/big props, they're a real workhorse.

12 lip 2016 · people are having a hard time with the slide barrel carbs. Small for restoring and making things work in ways they weren't necessarily designed for... I question what the advantages of this particular motor might be in a car/buggy application. Is there any or is this a matter of convenience, something else?
I have a K&B .45 engine and i cant seem to get it running without it coughing and spluttering. I think that my nitro might be too old and the filter is proberly full of crap. Can someone give me some ideas on solving these problems.
20 maj 2011 · No complaints from me with K&B engines. I still have an old K&B .45 Sportster in my Eagle 63, it still runs pretty good, with at least three gallons through it. Don't take my opinion though, I've had good luck with MDS (.45, and 1.48) so...
