4 sty 2011 · If the volt meter reads 12 volts, replace the electric PTO. Most John Deere lawn mowers are equipped with an electric PTO (Power Take Off). The PTO is the mechanism that turns on the blades located under the mower deck. The PTO works off of a 12-volt system.

13 wrz 2012 · Chosen Solution. Chris, first try to adjust the clutch. I attached some images from the manual. check the wiring. If the wiring does not reveal any problem and a clutch adjustment does not resolve it, it may be time to replace the clutch.
