We provide Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and Course Reserves services. ILL enables JMU students, faculty, and staff to request materials that are not available in any JMU Libraries collections. We acquire those materials from other libraries and document delivery vendors.

24 sie 2020 · Interlibrary Loan: Libraries around the world are beginning to reopen, which allows Interlibrary Loan (ILL) staff to resume processing your ILL requests for books and other physical materials in addition to articles and book chapters.

JMU faculty, students and staff may request an unlimited number of items through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). However, at times of high demand we may find it necessary to place some requests on hold temporarily.
Books received via Interlibrary Loan are intended for individual research use and cannot be placed on reserve. All books must be returned to the circulation desk on or before the date they are due (see bookstrap) unless they are eligible for renewal.
