30 gru 2018 · I couldn’t find any descriptions online for how to replace the steering box. I had the simplistic instructions from my Chilton manual and a video from PSC for the Big Bore XD install. I decided to go cheap and picked up a reman box from O’Reillys.

22 lut 2015 · To rebuild the power steering block, first, drive the input shaft bearing out of the housing with a large surface punch. This bearing is not replaced in the kit, so take extra care when removing it. Drive it away from the seal with the punch.
8 mar 2020 · #1 · Mar 8, 2020. My '87 power steering gearbox works flawlessly but is leaking out of the input shaft seal. I'm perfectly happy with the box so a remanufactured replacement is out of the question; Cardone doesn't fix sloppy gears, they just put new seals in them. Anyone done this job before?
28 maj 2020 · A much simpler and widely adopted method of directing your Jeep is to use a manual or power assist steering box to the driver side framerail just aft of the front axle.
