2 mar 2014 · The iron duke is really a pretty good little engine...if you freshen one up they have good durability and longevity. Be sure to replace the cam gear as they wear pretty quickly and will cause a knocking noise like a main or rod bearing type noise.

Your definitely going to need a decent mid-range camshaft to get it to do anything special, just keep in mind when choosing a camshaft that the factory crankshaft doesn't like to spin past 5,000rpm, so stay ...
