  3. 16 sty 2011 · The GM HEI is a stand alone system. All you have to do is wire up an ignition wire to the appropriate port on the cap and plug in the vacuum advance. I suggest you run a relay, as the HEI system runs best with a full, fat, 12 volts.

  6. 8 sty 2015 · Howell EFI: white wire coming from the throttle body (was connected to the coil before the HEI conversion) is now connected to a green wire that comes from the tach. The green tach wire is connected directly to the distributor.
