Jack's River Falls was a glorious sight to see and it spoke with a thunderous roar. On the day of our visit, the clear waters were shallow enough to walk out onto the rivers granite bottom for the best head-on pics of the falls.

Jacks River Trail South Section is a 8.5 mile trail and part of the Cohutta Wilderness. It begins at its high elevation trailhead at Dally Gap near Blue Ridge, GA. The trail takes you past Jacks River gorge and includes numerous river crossings.
This is a must hike! Gorgeous river and trail. There’s some blowdown on jacks River trail but it just adds to its rugged adventurous charm. Wear closed toe hiking sandal on jack river segment so you’re ready to lay down in the river and cool off at all the crossings.
