5 lip 2024 · This is information for anyone that has the Bottle Jack go bad on their J&S Motorcycle Jack. I’ve had a J&S Motorcycle Jack for several years. It replaced a Motorcycle Lift from Harbor Freight. I got it with the Oil Drain Pan. I’ve been using it on my old (2009) Road Glide and now with my 2021.
29 sty 2023 · Chang the Jack oil & replace o-rings. Like that release knob but my J&S does work smooth. Search u-tube for how to rebuild bottle &/or floor jack. Super easy & it fixed mine.
17 kwi 2020 · Most of the add on items like the oil drain are geared for Harleys or Goldwings. Probably market driven; Changing oil without a fabricated drain pan is a PIA. Especially on the SVTC with 3 drain plugs. I have spilled a lot of oil with it over the years. I need to fab a pan for it, I just have not made the time.
I have the J & S Spyder adapter that I use with my PowerBuilt jack. It works good and is very stable, but you will need to use 2x4’s or ramps under the front wheels. The platform on my jack isn’t as wide as the J&S jack, so it lifts by the 2 connecting crossbars in the middle.
9 paź 2022 · Yesterday I went to jack up my 2001 dyna lowrider to comfortably change fluids. Upon further inspection it seems there is a part that hangs beyond the frame and welded to frame is a plate as to guard it from damage. Looks like oil pan possibly idk.
