5 wrz 2013 · I currently have/use a motorcycle jack much like the HF/Sears variety, but want something more stable . Torn between a lift such as the J&S, (which appears the best of that type) or a homemade knock down wooden platform, that can be easily stored up in the loft, when not in use.
1 mar 2020 · I purchased a J&S jack for my first trike, a 2016, and it worked great. I now have a 2019 Triglide and tried to jack it up for a service. No luck. I couldn't get the jack under the bike from the left side because exhaust shields prevented the jack from sliding under the frame. In fact the rear end of the jack was too tall to fit under the frame.
I have a J&S trike jack. I am converting it to a motorcycle jack. I will trade all the “trike” parts for the left side lift arm (which you won’t need any more) and T handle from the J&S motorcycle lift you want to convert to a trike lift.
9 kwi 2011 · I use a J&S trike jack .... but adapters can be found for regular cycle jacks. Here is a picture of a Pitbull adapter showing where it goes. The J&S trike jack has this feature built in. A J&S trike jack can also be fitted with an adapter rail making it work with regular.
