I'm at my ends wit with this, on multiple devices Youtube Tv defaults to SD quality, I have to manually set to to 1080p. But then when I watch a 4k show its defaults to 1080p and I have to change it to 4k. I have 400 megabit internet and regular Youtube has no issue playing 4k at the "auto" setting.
