14 maj 2024 · Synthetic cannabinoids are lab-made drugs. Spice is a nickname for a substance containing one or more synthetic cannabinoids. Synthetic cannabinoids were originally designed to mimic the effects of cannabis. However, they are more harmful and unpredictable than cannabis.
Synthetic cannabinoids (SCB), also known as K2 or “spice”, are compounds created to stimulate the endogenous cannabinoid receptors with the potential for therapeutic administration.

Spice can go into beverages and edibles. Using spice in this form is more likely to lead to undesired effects due to taking too much. There have been reports of deaths as a result of Spice abuse. Whilst the death toll is nothing like that of other drugs such as heroin, cocaine and alcohol, some batches can be extremely toxic.
