She is currently retired, having appeared weeknights on Cleveland TV newscasts for 30 years - first on then independent station (now CW affiliate WUAB channel 43 (1988-1997), later on NBC affiliate WKYC channel 3 (1997-2011), and finally on CBS affiliate WOIO Channel 19 (2012-2018).

Unfortunately, WOIO and I could not avoid a scheduling conflict that prevented me from staying in a full-time role, so I'll be leaving that role at the end of May. But, I'm happy to say that I'll still be part of the 19 News family, including roles on Tailgate and Fifth Quarter this season!

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Romona Robinson has decided to part company with WOIO Channel 19, the Cleveland CBS affiliate she has called home for almost seven years. Robinson, currently the station's 4 and 6 p.m. co-anchor, announced Thursday, Oct. 4, that her last day on the air probably will be in late November or December.
