I'm afraid I'm not familiar with how Switch controllers work on Windows. It's a bit of a long shot but try closing Steam, it sometimes jumps in and converts the input to mouse/keyboard input. You're probably best off joining the Xenia discord server as someone there probably has the answer.
On Steam you can make it over-ride the lack of controller support. I was able to play it with a PS4 controller no problem. TLC edition with no mods or other apps.
Hey man, all I did was plug my ps4 controller in, started DS4 Tool and it worked. Another way might to do it is by going into setting, controls and changing it from keyboard to Xbox controller. There are 3 options, Keyboard, Fable 1 style xbox, fable2/3 inspired controls.
3 mar 2019 · I know it sounds silly, but I'm actually trying to get it to work with a Switch controller. I have a PS4 controller, but my PC rejects it every time I plug it in. My Switch controller works with Skyrim and Fallout 4, so I figured it was all set to work with everything else. But not Fable, it seems.
13 wrz 2014 · You have two control options to choose from, a Fable 2/3 combo and the original Fable option. The Fable 2/3 scheme allows attacking with just one button like Fable 2 and 3. So to attack with a sword you press X, Ranged is Y and Magic is B.
So does anyone know of any unofficial ways to play Fable 2 on a laptop? Two options. Gamepass streaming, or the Xenia emulator. I write about the pros and cons of both here. You're probably going to have a better time if you go with streaming if you're worried about your laptop's performance.
