5. Customer Service. Consumer Cellular is well-known for its advertisements of friendly customer service. To test this out, I reached out to Consumer Cellular in both available ways: via phone and online chat.
We switched to Consumer Cellular from Verizon and we absolutely love it! You always get to talk to an actual person. Our understanding is that they use AT&T towers. We've had no problems with reception. Same service as former provider plus a brand new Iphone SE for half what it cost us through Verizon.
