I have no idea what kind of end is in store for it, but it's a great read. Definitely not. One of my favorites but it was cancelled and left with an ending that is incomplete. I recently finished watch the anime adaption of baby steps and loved it.
Baby Steps is legitimately one of my favourite sports manga, it's so good. The tactics it shows, how it handles the mental aspect of the sport, the characters, and unlike a lot of sports manga it really covers the journey well.
I personally put the manga window on the right. The summaries, which are compiled by u/jdmh10, are indexed by chapter, so you can easily click on your current chapter to go there immediately. The manga website, also, allows you to easily change between chapters, and you can edit the url to quickly jump to whichever chapter you're on.

Baby Steps (Japanese: ベイビーステップ, Hepburn: Beibī Suteppu) is a Japanese manga series by Hikaru Katsuki. It was serialized in Kodansha 's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Magazine from October 2007 to November 2017, with its chapters collected in forty-seven tankōbon volumes.
