The law requires No Tax Due Reports originally due on or after Jan.1, 2016 to be led electronically. Filing this paper report means you are requesting, and we are granting, a waiver from the electronic reporting requirement for this report year ONLY.
Any taxable entity that owes any amount of franchise tax where the tax was not remitted electronically is required to submit the payment form with a check or money order made payable to the Texas Comptroller. Please put the reporting entity’s Texas taxpayer number and the report year on the check.

Form 05-163 (Final) is produced when Texas > General > Report type = 5. Threshold for this form is between $1,230,000 and below. Guideline. Form 05-163 is the default report when the total revenue is $1,230,000 or less.

15 lis 2023 · The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts has announced that the No Tax Due Report (Form 05-163) will be discontinued for the 2024 report year and beyond. This means that some businesses will no longer have to file this form, while others will have to file a different form instead.
