I'm thinking of buying one to replace my Mini 4 because it costs at least $150 less than the new Mini 6 and I personally prefer the features of the Mini 5 over the changes in the Mini 6. The Mini 5 should get at least three more years of OS upgrades, based on what Apple has done in the past.
I found a 128gb iPad mini 4 for 110€. Worth it? Plan to use it as just web browser+streaming and reading PDFs/ebooks. Already have MacBook Air M1 and iPhone 13 mini for the rest!
My guess is we see a Mini 7 in Q1 ‘24. Fairly minor spec bump with A16 (maybe A17 but yields would need to improve), OLED screen and starts with 128GB. What I don’t think we’ll get is Pro-motion, high nits (probably 800 or less), keyboard cover or M-series chip.

yea unfortunately, you can look up the roadmaps and leaks from supply chains, basically OLED isn’t gonna be on ipad mini too soon.
