2 sie 2023 · Mickey Thompson (275, 15") tires for the rear and front will be 15" tires but smaller. Having trouble finding reasonably priced wheels that I like. Have found 'ION' wheels that are fairly cheap (compared with light racing wheels which are ridiculously priced).
9 gru 2010 · Anyone running Ion wheels? They have a few really nice looking ones, and they seem to be really reasonably priced. I'm thinking of a 16x8, the one that looks like a alloy soft 8 with a fake beadlock. I found them for 106/ea, including lugs, caps, valve stems, and shipping.
12 lip 2014 · My current TJ had five 15x8 Ion polished aluminum wheels on it when I bought it last year. I think that they are well-made, balance well, and clean easily. I have been very pleased with them so far. I would guess that the Pro-Comps would be very nice wheels also.
29 kwi 2021 · I have confidence that they decided to use 8 luge wheels because they went with the offset truck wheels. If look at early pictures of the test bed frame and the "Pie Wagon" they both used the 5 lug wheels from the Toronado.
